To address Council on an agenda item you must apply in writing or via email to the Administrative Services Branch before 12 noon on the day of the meeting.
To address Council about an issue not on the agenda, if you let Council know before 4pm on the day of the meeting you can speak at the Open Forum part of the meeting on any topic.
People wishing to submit late correspondence must give it to Council before 12 noon on the day of the meeting.
To nominate for an item to be dealt with first, you can collect a numbered ticket at the entrance to the Council Chambers from 5pm on the afternoon of the meeting. Once the meeting has reached Agenda Item 11 (Matters brought forward by the public), ticket holders can nominate their item (in order of who first collected a ticket).
