The following codes, policies and guidelines provide further details which apply to certain types of development.

 Attachment 4 - Design Guidelines for Environmental Heritage
This document supports the WDCP and provides more detail on conservation principles as well as various building styles and periods.

 Footway Restaurants - 179 KB
Footway restaurants add a welcome atmosphere to the city, but they need to be appropriately located. This document gives guidelines for location, furniture, management, advertising, and application requirements while encouraging footway restaurants.

This code deal with re-numbering for new development to avoid conflict with existing addresses.

 Public Precints Design Guidelines - 81 KB
These guidelines complement SREPP No.5’s provisions about additional floor space when a developer provides a public precinct. They establish standards to help develop attractive and useful pedestrian plazas.

 SEPP1 Objections - 99 KB
A SEPP No.1 Objection is a written submission accompanying a DA which justifies a variation of the relevant development standard found in the planning instrument. These guidelines provide an explanation about the use of SEPP No.1 and the form in which objections should be prepared. Compliance to planning instruments are necessary to ensure consistent appropriate development. Only in exceptional circumstances will variations be considered.
