WLEP 1995

The Willoughby Local Environmental Plan 1995 (WLEP 1995) provides the statutory framework for planning within the area.

This document allocates land for specific purposes through zoning and development controls.

The WLEP 1995 also contains provisions to conserve local heritage and protect sensitive land.

Amendments to the Plan are made by an amending LEP through a Planning Proposal. These must be formally made by the Minister for Planning before being published in the Government Gazette before coming into force.
