In response to community concern about climate change, Willoughby City Council has launched ClimateClever, a comprehensive education campaign that aims to assist Willoughby residents, businesses and schools reduce their carbon footprint through a range of engaging programs, workshops and activities designed to increase community skills and knowledge of climate change actions.
ClimateClever is a call to action as we strive to meet our vision of Willoughby City becoming one of the leading sustainable communities in Sydney and Australia. We also strive to ensure our city remains a fantastic place to live, work and play whilst protecting and enhancing our natural environment. Together we are aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with the electricity consumption of our community by at least 15 per cent by 2015 based on 2007 electricity data. Your commitment to becoming ClimateClever will assist us in reaching this target.
