The Library catalogue has had a facelift:
The new look Library Catalogue offers the following enhancements:
- Improved keyword searching –type in any combination of details eg author name, a word from title, date of publication etc
- Login using your barcode and PIN to flag items and save and email lists, update your contact details, review what you have on loan and renew items online.
- Free access to a large range of ebooks to download. Look for the links to e-book and Overdrive under the Willoughby Council logo.
Teenage Reading Group: Teens are welcome to join the Teenage Reading Group at Artarmon Library. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month from 3:45-4:45pm.
Email Alerts: Willoughby Library can now send you email alerts for holds and overdue items. To register for email notifications visit this link and go to Change My Email
Talks@Willoughby
The Talks@Willoughby program gives you the opportunity to hear authors and other guest speakers talking about their areas of expertise.
Library Book Sales
Regular Book Sales are held by Chatswood Library, where you will find a wide range of books for all ages including fiction, nonfiction, community languages and children's books. Watch this space to find out when the next Library Book Sale will be held.
Book Clubs
Chatswood Library has a Book and Movie Lovers' Club for people who love talking about films and books. Book Club kits are available for loan at Chatswood Library, Castle Cove, Naremburn and Northbridge libraries.
Children's Activities

Local Studies
The Local Studies department of the Library is the place to find current and historical information about the Willoughby local area. A wide range of information is available. If you need further assistance, Local Studies staff members are available by appointment.
Justice of the Peace (JP) Service
Willoughby City Library provides a JP Service for the certification of documents. The JP Service will be available on Wednesdays from 10am to 12noon and Saturdays from 10am to 12pm.
Free Wi-Fi
Free wireless internet access is currently available at Chatswood, Artarmon,Castle Cove, Northbridge and West Chatswood libraries.
Recycle your old Mobile Phones
Help the environment by putting your old mobile phone in the mobile phone recycle bin near the Information Desk at Chatswood Library.
