Volunteering

You can help the Performing Arts Unit provide performers and audiences with a memorable experience. Volunteering is a fun way to meet new friends, experience great events, and give back to the community. Volunteers can also earn extra rewards for their efforts such as:

  • Free concert tickets
  • Opportunities to meet artists in person
  • Recognition in Performing Arts Unit Publications and Programs

The various jobs available include:

  • Front of House – for concerts and larger events. Duties may include greeting patrons at events, taking tickets, distributing programs, and directing visitors to their seats.
  • Mailing and Messaging – This is a critical area. You could assist with producing mail-outs, deliver brochures to local organisations, or much more. This task is easy to work around your skills and schedule.
  • Office Assistance – Duties include answering the telephones, data entry and filing, and work on an ‘as needed’ basis during normal office hours.
