Eye Flowers - An exhibition by Digby Webster

Prolific Australian artist Digby Webster’s exuberant works will be showcased in in the special exhibition, Eye Flowers, held from Friday 15 July to Friday 2 September at Blend Café, 7 Victor Street Chatswood.
Born with Downs Syndrome, Digby approaches art with huge enthusiasm and has developed an expressive, visual language of his own. Working in the mediums of oil pastels acrylics felt pens and inks, Digby enjoys strong, evocative colours and uses them playfully.
"I love to make art. It is my passion, my blood. Every time I draw I feel inspired," said Digby. "Art makes me feel happy because everybody likes my work and because it is out in the world. This is how I see my future. I am the man walking the line. I am very proud,” he said.
