Willoughby City Library continues its commitment to helping local teenagers and their families ‘Survive the HSC’ with two inspirational seminars in 2016.
A Parent’s Guide to the HSC - 6.30pm, Thursday 17 March
This session will offer practical advice on how to support your child through Years 11 and 12, including an explanation of how the HSC and ATAR work, how to help your child develop a healthy study and life balance, and the types of support and help your child will need to excel.
Secrets to HSC Success Revealed - 4pm, Tuesday 17 May
This seminar will explore such topics as the five key strategies Australia’s top students use to excel in Year 12, how to effectively manage time, create a powerful study plan, boost memory retention, and develop effective and engaging study notes.
Both seminars will be presented by Rowan Kunz, author of Secrets of HSC Success Revealed, and founder of Art of Smart Education. Rowan has a Bachelor of Arts/Laws (Hons) from Sydney University and achieved an ATAR of 99.6 while representing NSW in soccer.
Both seminars will be held at Chatswood Library on The Concourse, Lower Ground, 409 Victoria Ave Chatswood.
