Learn how you can keep your brain healthy for life with Neuropsychologist, Dr Nicola Gates at a special Talks@Willoughby event on Friday 28 October at Northbridge Library.
Drawing from cutting-edge research to explain the amazing roles our health and fitness, as well as mental activity play in brain health, Dr Nicola Gates reveals how we live has a powerful effect on our brains and by making simple lifestyle changes, we can keep our brains strong as we age and reduce our risk of dementia.
Dr Nicola Gates is a clinical neuropsychologist, neuroscientist, and conjoint lecturer with the Centre of Healthy Brain Ageing UNSW. She earned her Doctorate in Neuropsychiatry investigating physical exercise, cognitive training and psychological wellbeing for dementia prevention and continues to investigate health promotion and disease prevention.
