The Library maintains collections in six community languages: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Armenian, French and Persian.
These language collections are based on the demographic characteristics of the Willoughby LGA.
Resumption of Community Language Bulk Loan Service
Books in over 40 languages are available from the State Library of NSW through all public libraries. If you would like books in your language that are not available in Willoughby Library, you can ask our library staff or fill in the online form here. We can arrange to get books in your language from State Library of NSW for you. This is a free service.
Please note the State Library of NSW anticipates that the turnaround time for loans will be slow as high number of requests is expected after the resumption of the service.
