Greg Mullins

Greg Mullins is a former commissioner of Fire and Rescue New South Wales, a Climate Councillor with the Climate Council, and the founder of Emergency Leaders for Climate Action. With over 50 years experience in fire-fighting, he is an internationally recognised expert in responding to major bushfires and natural disasters.

He coordinated responses to many major natural disasters over more than two decades and retired as Commissioner of Fire & Rescue New South Wales in January 2017 after nearly 14 years in the role.

His outstanding service to the community has been recognised with an Order of Australia and the Australian Fire Service Medal. He is a passionate advocate for strong climate action determined to leave a safer world for his grandchildren and future generations.
