Description: a large bronze water sculpture fountain created in recognition of the life and work of Walter Burley Griffin. Walter Burley Griffin (1876-1937) and his wife Marion Mahoney designed the suburb of Castlecrag. Bim Hilder who worked with Griffin, designed the fountain conceived by the Castlecrag Progress Association to commemorate Griffin and mark the Centenary of the Willoughby Municipal Council. The design of three crystalline modules reflects some of the architectural vocabulary favoured by Griffin.
