Devonshire Street Children's Centre is a long day care centre licensed through the Department of Education, under the Education and Care Services National Regulations, and participates in the National Quality Standards.
We strive to provide high quality education for all children through the ongoing professional development of our staff, collaboration, reflective practice and working with all children and families.
Educational programs are based on the National Curriculum - The Early Years Learning Framework and reflect key learning areas such as social and emotional development, language development, physical development, creativity, and intellectual development. There is a balance between indoor and outdoor play. Nutritional and varied meals are provided each day. School Readiness programs are implemented and parents are encouraged to participate in centre life as much as possible.
