Youth Action Plan 2024-2027

Young people aged 12 to 24 in the Willoughby City Council LGA make up a significant portion of the population at 14.8%. Their thoughts, attitudes, and ideas are crucial for shaping the future of the city and the Lower North Shore. Recognizing young people as valuable members of society is key, as their contributions will impact the direction of Willoughby Council's Youth Team projects.

In response to the challenges brought on by COVID-19, a thoughtful approach is needed to support the youth.

The creation of a Youth Action Plan (YAP) aligns with Willoughby's Resilient Willoughby Strategy and Action Plan, demonstrating a commitment to meeting the needs of young people and guiding support for the next 3 to 5 years.
