Out Of Hours Work Permit

There have been recent changes made to Out of Hours Work Permits:

  • Effective July 1 2024, the fees for Out of Hours Work Permits will increase and must be paid upon lodgement. These fees are non-refundable.
  • The 48 hours urgency period applies to permits lodged between 48 to 72 hours (2 to 3 business days) before the start time.
  • You should not lodge a permit less than 48 hours (2 business days) before the start time as it will be refused.
  • This is a one-off application to undertake construction and/or demolition work outside of hours permitted by a development consent condition.
  • Your permit cannot cover more than a 24 hour period - One (1) Permit is required for each variation to the approved working hours within any 24 hour period.
