Services over the 2024-25 Christmas New Year period

Our Customer Service Centre will be closed from 4:30pm Tuesday 24 December 2024, reopening 9am Monday 6 January 2025. Most Council services will not be provided from 5pm Tuesday 24 December 2024, until 9am Monday 6 January 2025.

Any urgent matters should be directed to Council’s after hours service on (02) 9777 1000. All other enquires will be responded to from 6 January 2025.

Ground closures

All natural turf fields are currently open with the exception of Naremburn Ovals 1 and 2 which are closed for renovations.

Low-impact sports such as cricket are permitted during the closure period.

In this month's update, Mayor Tanya Taylor discusses the outcomes of the latest Council Meeting, where Council adopted the updated Draft Code of Meeting Practice, noted feedback on CBD Planning Controls, and made important decisions about road safety and active transport. Council endorsed the Draft City of Willoughby Road Safety Plan and developed a Wayfinding Plan for Willoughby’s bicycle network. Additionally, Council distributed funds through the 2024/25 Grants for the Community Program and discussed funding for Devonshire Street Childcare Centre.
