- Willoughby City Council is also responsible for assessment of the development application.
- The cost of works for the project is $605,500.00
Management strategy
The council is managing potential conflicts of interest in this matter as follows:
1. The assessment of an application for council-related development:
- An independent consultant that has not been involved in preparing or lodging the development application shall assess the application.
- The independent consultant will remain separate from the team that lodged the development application.
2. The determination of an application for council-related development:
- The Development applications will be referred to the Willoughby Local Planning Panel for determination.
3. The regulation and enforcement of approved council-related development:
- A private certifier will be engaged to undertake the certification of the development.
