The Haven Amphitheatre

Constructed in the 1930s with community help, the Amphitheatre was planned by Walter Burley Griffin. The site was said to be chosen by Marion Mahony Griffin for its natural acoustics. Previous performances include The Sydney University Dramatic Society and the Anthroposophical Society.

The Haven Amphitheatre is now available for booking by small theatre groups, weddings and small workshop or classes. Please read the terms and conditions on the right hand side before applying.

Key terms and conditions:

Productions with more than 100 people are limited to 6 productions a year with a maximum of 3 performances per production.
Events and activities with less than 100 people have no limit.
Maximum capacity is 350 people.
All shows must end by 10:00pm.
Successful applications must have a Safety Risk Assessment and Production Management Plan, downloadable on the right of this page.
