Willoughby Wildlife Watch

The Willoughby Wildlife Watch  program provides you with an opportunity to find out about local wildlife and help Council protect and preserve these animals and their habitat. It is also a great opportunity to share your interest with others by taking part in Wildlife watch activities.

Many native animals are dependent on specific habitat features within our local bushland for breeding, food and shelter. By sharing your sightings and details of the animals you encounter, the location and time of year, we gain a valuable insight into what and where wildlife are in Willoughby. This information helps the Council’s bushland team to better address the needs of wildlife through Council’s on ground management and by improving our wildlife and habitat education for local residents and visitors.

Our Reserve Action Plans can provide you with an insight into how your sightings can be used.
