Better Business Partnership (BBP)is a free business sustainability program that assists small to medium-sized organisations to implement sustainable practices and achieve local recognition for their efforts.

BBP works with businesses to:

  1. Save money through reduced energy, water and waste bills
  2. Improve their environmental performance
  3. Provide promotion through marketing campaigns and the Better Business Awards.

You can become an accredited member to access benefits from our Strategic Partners - including access to national sustainability programs and emission profiling software. With funding from the NSW EPA, we are also offering free consultations on food waste reduction via the Circular Food Pathways initiative.

Take advantage of the great resources this program offers to reduce your environmental impact, reduce your bills and differentiate your business in the local community.

Free energy audits for businesses

To support businesses in reducing their energy costs and cutting their carbon emissions, we are offering free level 1 energy audits on commercial buildings.

Level 1 energy audits provide information on potential energy efficiency measures, lighting, solar panel installation, battery storage, EV charging, payback periods etc. These audits are done by independent consultants.

Every building has their own unique electricity usage profile and aspect, which can quickly lead to confusion when assessing solar options. Our independent engineering consultants can simplify the process through a level 1 energy audit by providing advice on the installation of a solar PV system unique for your building. After you’ve received the assessment you can quickly progress with getting accurate quotes to have solar installed on your building.

Please note, eligibility criteria apply and there are a limited number of assessments available.
