Children's clothes, toy and book swap

Join us for an exciting event of sustainable swapping and donating baby and kid’s items. Bring quality clothes, books and toys that are suitable for children 0 to 8 years old and enjoy swapping them for new exciting ones.

How it works:

• Donations drop-off between 1pm and 1:30pm.
• Bring up to 6 clothing pieces AND 6 books or toys in the swap (12 items total). For each item you bring, you will receive a token which can be used to select another item. You are welcome to bring more than 12 items but you will receive 12 tokens maximum.
• Swap runs from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.

Guidelines:

Please note that there is a quality screening process for items accepted. Clothing and soft toys must be in excellent condition, meaning pre-washed and free from rips, holes, stains or major faults. All books and toys should be clean and in working order.

Items to bring:

• Baby and children's clothes suitable from birth (00000) - 8 years.
• Quality books, puzzles, dolls and other toys suitable for children under 8 years old.
• Battery operated toys must work and have batteries included.

Items NOT to bring:

• Underwear, socks and swimwear.
• Anything stained, torn, unclean or broken.
• Unwashed clothes or soft toys.
• Small parts that could be a choking hazard.

Leftover items will be donated to the Red Cross.

Due to limited capacity, this is a free event reserved for Willoughby Council residents. If you aren’t a resident and are interested in attending, please email the team at env.educators@willoughby.nsw.gov.au so you can be added to the waitlist and offered a spot closer to the date if there are availabilities.
