Learn tips to reduce your family waste and plastic pollution. Find out how to be kinder to the planet this World Environment Day.

Join us for a practical workshop for families looking to reduce household waste — whether you’re part of a busy home, or simply would like to live a little more lightly for the planet. This session is designed to make low-waste choices feel achievable, especially for young families.

Held in support of World Environment Day, this workshop is a great way to take meaningful steps toward reducing your impact — without the pressure to be perfect. Gain ideas and tools you can use in your daily life.

What to Expect:

  • Low-waste living, made simple – Discover practical ways to reduce plastic and food waste at home or for school.
  • Everyday swaps that make a difference – We'll explore reusable options like cloth nappies and reusable wipes. Explore your choices on toys and clothing, and switching to low-tox skincare and cleaning products.
  • DIY session – Make your own natural balm - perfect for home or on the go. Only one balm per registered adult.
  • Free eBook – Packed with helpful tips, resources, and encouragement to support your low-waste journey.

Babies are welcome, but please note that this is an adult educational workshop and is not suitable for older children to attend.

This workshop will be facilitated by Sarah Tait, founder of Wanderlightly.
