MOSAIC bushwalk - Blue Gum Reserve 2024

Join us on a relaxing bushwalk through Blue Gum Reserve.


Blue Gum Reserve is 17 hectares of bushland located west of the Pacific Highway and north of Fullers Road in Chatswood. This small reserve acts as an important and contiguous ecological link to much larger areas of bushland, such as Lane Cove National Park.

Bushwalk details

  • Bushwalk starts at 9:30am and ends at 11:30am.
  • For those making their own way, we will meet opposite the corner of Dulwich Road and Peckham Avenue, Chatswood (See map below).
  • Limited bus pick-up will be available at the Dougherty Community Centre carpark area (7 Victor Street, Chatswood). Bookings required. The bus will arrive at 9am. After the walk, you will be driven back to the same pick-up point.
  • Bring a hat, sunscreen and water.
  • Must be fit enough to walk for 2 hours with some rest during the walk.
  • They’ll be some steps and uneven surfaces. Please consider if you are able to do this walk, especially if you have mobility constraints or recently had surgery.
  • Morning tea will be provided around 11.30am - 12.00pm (tea, coffee and biscuits).
  • For those catching the minibus we’ll aim to leave by 12pm be back at the Dougherty Community Centre by 12.30pm.
  • Suitable for adults only. No children or pets allowed.
