Learn safer cycling skills in a supportive environment with qualified, experienced instructors. This adults’ cycling class is held off-road on the netball courts at Bicentennial Reserve, and includes a guided ride through the beautiful Flat Rock Gully nature reserve.
You’ll get personalised instruction in this small class, to learn:
- bike control plus awareness skills to cycle safely in off-street environments
- how to co-operatively ‘share the way’ with other path users
- negotiate road crossings when travelling along shared paths and cycleways
- the priorities that determine road traffic movements.
What to bring:
- A bike in good working order (Please make sure the brakes, gears and chain are working and there’s air in the tyres. This is a requirement for participation in the class)
- Helmet
- Water bottle and snacks
- Warm clothing if cold and sunblock if sunny
