This is a unique opportunity to be guided in a hands-on workhop which uses mixed media and water colour to examine naturalistic and abstract shapes of the interiors and exteriors of trees.
Using the artist’s work exhibited in the Sacred Grove in your Street exhibition and other reference materials, you will be provided with ideas and basic techniques in composition, pen and brush work to create your own tree artwork collage.
As you explore and discuss ideas for your unique creation, you gain greater appreciation that trees are a living entity, not just an external structure.
Note: Due to limited capacity, registrations are prioritised for Willoughby Council residents. If you aren't a resident, you can email env.educators@willoughby.nsw.gov.au to be added on the waitlist, and notified if last minute spots become available.
