Join us for a day of fun and excitement at the Artarmon Street Festival on Hampden Road between Brand Street and Jersey Road, celebrating the community life of Artarmon Village after months of vibrant streetscape upgrades! This family-friendly event has something for everyone, offering a perfect day out for all ages.

The shops along Hampden Road will come alive with outdoor dining, allowing you to enjoy delicious food and drinks while soaking up the festive atmosphere. Local retailers and community organisations will also be showcasing their unique products, services and offering interactive experiences.

For the little ones (and those young at heart), we’ve got a jam-packed schedule of free kids' activities and rides, including:

  • Bull ride: Challenge your balance and see how long you can stay on!
  • Zap a penguin: A fun, fast-paced game that’s sure to be a hit.
  • Lava rush obstacle course: Dash through this thrilling course for some adrenaline-filled fun

But that’s not all! Kids and animal lovers will be delighted by:

  • Animal farm: Get up close and personal with friendly animals from cute ducklings to hairy goats.
  • Reptile show: Learn about and interact with amazing reptiles in this educational and exciting exhibit.

Local sporting clubs will be showcasing their activities, encouraging everyone to get active and enjoy the fresh air. Plus, the entertainment stage in the middle of the street will feature a fantastic lineup of live performances, showcasing local talent and musicians from abroad.

Come and experience the new Artarmon Village with a full day of food, shopping, activities, and entertainment. It’s a celebration of our community, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Visitors are encouraged to take public transport, walk or ride to Artarmon as street parking will be busy around Hampden Road.

Road closures

Hampden Road will be closed from Brand Street to Jersey Road from 6am - 6pm on Saturday 9 November 2024.

Intersections at Francis Road and Broughton Road will also be closed.

Drivers are to follow detour signs and directions from traffic controllers.

For disabled parking spots affected by road closure, temporary disabled parking will be provided on Hampden Road near the Jersey Road intersection. For more details, please see the event site map.
