Centuries Old Armenian Heritage & Culture
Exhibition Dates: 9 - 20 May 2018
An exhibition held by the Armenian Apostolic Church of Australia.
Armenian culture is distinct and unique in its history, religion and social developments spanning hundreds of centuries. The invention of the Armenian alphabet in 405AD and the first nation to adopt Christianity in 301AD are some notable milestones. Additionally, developing trends in architecture, fine arts, and music have been pivotal moments.
This event will display ancient manuscripts, photos of Armenian Churches and Monasteries, clergy attire, traditional needlework and handcrafted work, and ancient books.
This exhibition is part of Willoughby Heritage Festival.
