The artists of Studio 29B invite visitors to experience ways of decoding chaos and deconstructing pattern.
What we call chaos is just patterns we haven't recognized. What we call random is just patterns we can't decipher. What we can't understand we call nonsense. (Chuck Palahniuk)
How do our minds interpret images without an identifiable subject? We tend to seek order within the chaos and search for patterns to help us find meaning.
This exhibition by the artists of Studio 29B (Rhonda Nelson, Anna Russell and Anthea Boesenberg) invites visitors to experience ways of decoding chaos and deconstructing pattern. Media includes works on paper, relief and intaglio prints, monotype, encaustic and 3D work, including ceramics.
