Jessie Zhou

 

7 December 2024 - 6 pm to 9 pm

Jessie Zhou has been the head singer in her choir since the age of 13, showcasing her exceptional musical talent and leadership skills. Her experience in the choir not only honed her vocal abilities but also deepened her passion for music.

She deepened her love for pop music by joining a local music band, where she took on the role of the lead vocalist. This experience allowed her to explore different musical styles and develop her unique voice within the pop genre. 

Specializing in pop music, Jessie continues to captivate audiences with her powerful vocals and dynamic performances. Her dedication to her craft and her ability to connect with listeners maker her a standout performer in the music scene.

Cameraygal Wind Symphony

12 December 2024 6:30 pm to 8 pm

The Cameraygal Wind Symphony is the senior ‘Flagship’ ensemble in the LCCB organisation and comprises a group of approximately 70 enthusiastic adult woodwind, brass and percussion players with a playing standard of 6th grade AMEB or above.

We are in a significant growth period with Gavin Staines as our music director. Our performance focus centers on the classic and new serious wind band repertoire along with the occasional lighter entertainment concert pieces. We also enthusiastically support new works by Australian composers and mentoring the other ensembles in our organisation and region.

Ukulele Group

14 December - 2 pm to 4 pm

21 December - 2 pm to 4 pm

Bonzer Ukulele and Singing Kollective BUSK is the group for Ukulele enthusiasts who live in and around Chatswood. 

The group has been going for ten years with plenty of great meetings and have enjoyed performances for community groups in our local area. The group is led by Steve Lockwood, a musician with over 40 years of experience performing in bands and running community music groups. Steve's burning desire is to introduce as many people as possible to the joys of playing music with friends and community. For those who have been plunking away at home, come and experience the thrill of playing in a large group of friendly people.

For those who started uke you are welcome to come along and soak up the atmosphere created by the more advanced players. 

Ukulele players and singers of all levels are most welcome.

We meet monthly on the 4th Wednesday, in Chatswood, at the Dougherty Centre from 7 pm to 9:30pm

Ryan & Fi

 

14 December - 6 pm to 9 pm

Ryan & Fi are an original contemporary piano duo, best known for their heart felt love ballads, stirring instrumentals and beautiful vocal harmonies. Their music reflects on love, loss and longing, and although at times melancholic, is always uplifting and full of hope. Performing regularly around Sydney at markets and restaurants, they also put on their own shows and are available for weddings, parties and house concerts.

Creative Sounds School

19 December - 5:30pm to 8:30pm

Creative Sounds School is owned and operated by professional musicians for whom playing and teaching music is a passion. Their mission is to give students the tools and ability to express themselves creatively, as well as providing the opportunity to work together in an environment where they feel comfortable. 

Long-term, their goal is to build a community of professionally trained musicians with a culture of working together and supporting one another.

Northside Concert Band

 

21 December - 5 pm to 8 pm

The Northside Concert Band is a community band based in Northern Sydney Australia for adults playing concert band instruments (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trombone, euphonium, baritone, french horn, trumpet, tuba, and percussion).

The whole aim is to provide a good musical experience for all the players and also to play in festivals and at places like The Chatswood Concourse, ARV and Carols at Coogee, so that we share our love of music and enjoyment with others. We play from grade 2.5 to 5 with a large variety in musical styles.
