Georgina Evans is a resident of Sydney’s Inner West.  She is a multi-modal artist, who weaves and explores textiles, paints and draws in ink on canvas, rice-paper and eco-dyed fabric. 

Georgina enjoys experimenting with techniques and materials, reusing and recycling.  She is influenced by the natural environment and her love of nature.

As a person living with disabilities and mental health challenges, Georgina’s exhibition, Everything Ahead of Me demonstrates her excitement to develop her art practice and to find opportunities to learn and create something unique.

Georgina is the winner of the 2023 'Connect, Collaborate, Celebrate' art competition hosted by Willoughby Council through the Dougherty Community Centre.

Location

Our centre is located within a 5-minute walk from the Chatswood Interchange via Chatswood Mall turning right into Victor Street.

As there is limited and restricted parking available in the Council open-air car park next-door, visitors may choose to use the Westfield car park across the road.
