Tony-Manning-City-Labyrinth-2015.jpg

Exhibition Dates: 3 - 17 March 2016

Recent paintings by Tony Manning.

The focus of Tony's paintings is urban life with all its flotsam, jetsam and detritus as a starting point. Tony’s painterly figurative approach to the scenes of the city is inspired by his personal experience of moving through the urban landscape and taking time to observe the built environment and our everyday relationship with it. This exhibition of recent paintings expresses our memories of city life and the human form impacted by the natural and built environment.

Tony has a Bachelor of Visual Arts from City Art Institute and a Master of Art from the University of NSW (COFA) and lives in Sydney.
