Studio demonstration of slip casting at Incinerator Art Space.
Join Annarie Hildebrand for a studio demonstration of slip casting. Slip casting is a ceramic forming technique which is used to create intricate shapes that are difficult or impossible to make using traditional techniques, such as throwing or hand-building.
Visitors will have the opportunity to ask Annarie questions about slip casting and her artistic processes.
This event is part of Wasted Opportunities, an exhibition that contemplates the use of waste as an opportunity for creativity.
