Sydney Edible Garden Trail

Hands in the garden.jpg

The Sydney Edible Garden Trail is the opportunity to discover the edible gardens of backyard growers, community and school gardens across Sydney. For two days only, gardeners will open their gardens to the public and share their passion and knowledge.

This once a year urban edible garden trail celebrates the many ways that local residents are creating food security, building self-reliance, saving money and the environment, while enjoying the health benefits of homegrown fruit and veg. This time in early November, the start of summer. Visit new gardens, or revisit ones you've seen before at a different time of year to see how the gardens prepare for the abundant summer growing period, join a private garden tour, a demonstration of tips and tricks to growing your own produce and ask questions to the gardeners.

This is a self-guided tour through the gardens that interest you. Once you have your ticket you can visit the edible gardens of communities, schools and backyard growers, large and small, across Sydney.
