When would you need this?

  • To check to see if your property is in a floodplain catchment or has had a past flood event.
  • To make an application for flood depths and heights (1% AEP, 5% AEP) for a residential or commercial property located within Willoughby City Council.
  • To establish minimum floor heights and the flood planning for residential development that complies with Part I - Attachment 2 of the Willoughby DCP.

What you need to know:

  • Flood information certificates are not available for Scotts Creek Catchment.
  • Before applying for flood information you must contact Council staff or check the property address online to confirm that flood information is available and required for the property.
