Apply for driveway white line markings

When would you need this?

Use this form when seeking approval for the installation or repainting of white line markings along the roadway on each side of your driveway.

What you need to know:

• The white line markings are L-shaped lines marked on each side of a driveway to define the edges of the driveway to assist in keeping the driveway unobstructed into the property.
• The white lines markings will be positioned at the point where the driveway wing meets the kerb. The lines may be installed up to a maximum of 1 metre on either side of the driveway. The location of the lines will be at the discretion of the assessing officer.
• The driveway white line markings are not a recognised traffic facility and therefore they cannot be enforced under the Australian Road Rules if they are encroached.
