The project consists of two parts:

Why is the Council’s Victor Street asset renewal and refurbishment required?
The refurbishment works to levels 4, 5 and 6 have been completed and the areas have been handed over to Council for occupation.
The project achieved final practical completion on 6 August 2024.
Site establishment by the builder and lodgement of the relevant approvals.
Tender awarded to INTREC Management.
Council staff vacated levels 4 and 5 and moved into level 6, Dougherty Community Centre, Library, Willoughby Leisure Centre and the Depot.
Commencement of possible leasing of level 6 east.
This project was initiated in 2017 and has been identified in Council’s Delivery Program and Operational Plan for many years. The following has been undertaken during this time, noting it was placed on hold during COVID:
