Public and Open Forums will now occur one week prior to General Council Meetings. Registrations to speak close at noon on the same date as the forum.
Please note there are a limited number of pre-booked services available per week, and they must be booked at least a week in advance. At busy periods bookings may not be available for several weeks. Cancellations must be made 7 days prior to your booked clean-up.
If you are utilising the pre-booked service for bulky household goods, check the acceptable items under the scheduled clean-up service.
For bulk vegetation collection, Council will collect:
Tree prunings and loppings Untreated timber Christmas trees Palings without nails (max 0.5m³)
Council will NOT collect:
Untied/loose vegetation Vegetation in plastic bags Branches greater than 75mm diameter Branches, untreated wood or Christmas trees in sections longer than 1 metre Painted or chemically treated timber Tree stumps Whole wood pallets Building timber Whole fences General garbage Timber with nails

Willoughby City Council offer one free pre-booked kerbside bulky waste clean-up collection per eligible property per calendar year. We recommend booking your kerbside pre-booked bulky waste clean-up collection at least one month in advance to secure your preferred date.

An email or SMS confirmation with a reference number for your booking will be sent to you.
Download a Pre-booked Council bulky waste collection label and attach it to your items.
Note: If you are unable to print the label, please attach a piece of paper to the street-facing side of the group of items. The label should identify the items for 'Council bulky waste collection' and include the date of the Sunday specified by Council, your address and booking reference number.
Please ensure your items are out and labelled the night before in preparation for collection.
Willoughby City Council offer an additional pre-paid kerbside bulky waste clean-up collection service to residents who have used their free annual pre-booked collection.
Please note: By completing the paid collection request, you are committing to the payment of the service. Once your payment is confirmed by Council, you can select your clean-up collection date through our waste provider, JJ Richards' booking system. Refunds will not be provided if you are unable to secure your preferred collection date via JJ Richards' system.
